Commit2Cypress Happening Thursday

Know a first-time college student who is planning to attend Cypress College in the fall? Commit2Cypress is an on-campus event where they can learn more about the college and sign their contract for two years of free tuition as part of the college's Charger Experience Program. Please share this information with anyone who may be interested. Students can RSVP to attend here.

When: Thursday, May 4, at 4–7 p.m.

Summer Graduation and Certificate Applications Now Available

Planning to graduate or complete a certificate this summer? Applications will be available through June 8, so prepare now to submit your application before the deadline.

For students who expect to graduate in summer 2023 but would like to participate in the college's 56th Commencement ceremony on May 19, please complete and submit the Petition to Participate in Commencement by May 14.

17th Annual Transfer Celebration

Are you transferring in the fall? The Cypress College Transfer Center wants to celebrate YOU! The 17th Annual Transfer Celebration will be held on Tuesday, May 9, at 1-3 p.m. in CCCPLX-414.

RSVP for the Transfer Celebration

Please RSVP by Sunday, May 7. Your RSVP will be considered complete when you forward an email of your acceptance letter to [email protected].

Transfer Celebration activities include:

- Catered lunch
- Student recognition ceremony
- Transfer achievement medal that may be worn during the Cypress College Commencement Ceremony
- Panel of Cypress College alumni speaking on their transfer experiences
- Next-steps breakout sessions with CSUF, CSULB, UC Irvine, UCLA, UC Riverside, and Biola University

Athletics Hall of Fame Induction

Cypress College Athletics would like to formally congratulate all 2023 Hall of Fame inductees by celebrating their outstanding accomplishments with alumni, friends, family, and supporters of Cypress College Athletics at the 2023 induction event on Thursday, May 11.

The event will take place in Gym II at Cypress College from 5–8:30 p.m. Registration includes access to the social and cocktail hour, dinner, and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. All guests must register for the event in advance.

The Clotheslines Project was featured on campus last Wednesday as part of the Denim Day Resource Fair, a college event to bring awareness to sexual assault and support survivors during Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
