The Diamondback Terrapin is a species of special concern in the state of Connecticut. One of the greatest threats to turtles, including the diamondback terrapin, is road mortality.
We're looking for volunteers for our Terrapin Tracking Team to help monitor coastal roadways for terrapin mortalities this spring and summer. Join us for a virtual training session on Monday, April 3 to learn all about data collection and protocols.
