This landlocked celebration of the ocean’s most revered delicacies will let you taste your way through delightful preparations and presentations. Enjoy them raw, grilled, steamed, fried-even paired with award-winning Southern BBQ-all coupled with a thoughtful selection of Champagne and sparkling wines. Sip, shuck, and “shell-berate” with live music at this effortlessly effervescent event.
Grand Tasting
With hundreds of sips from national, international and regional wineries at locations scattered throughout town, you are in for a treat! This unique Grand Tasting event showcases Telluride’s culinary leaders-award-winning chefs, mixologists, and wine professionals-who will share bites and sips that explore and celebrate our dynamic food-and-beverage scene while embracing downtown Telluride’s historic architecture and breathtaking views. 2:00pm - 4:00pm: BLENDED REDS SEMINAR
Location: Petite Maison Telluride, Colorado
This event is an attendee favorite! Bring out your creative juices (pun intended) at this interactive and hands-on tasting experience. By tasting Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot independently, attendees will be guided to a deeper understanding of the four red appelations, and how they can blend together to create the red wines that we all know and love.
Join the producers of Buckel Wines as they discuss their process of blending for their own wines. As you taste and discuss each wine, you will analyze its unique flavors, aromas, body, tannins, and mouth feel and learn how the world’s leading winemakers combine these grape varietals to create their own unique blends.

Coming to know their land through the generations before them, they have an intuitive understanding, quiet confidence and desire to produce only the best they can from each vintage. In standing resolute behind their own style, they’ve established themselves as regional pioneers, benchmarks and leaders alike, universally acclaimed by wine critics across the globe.
Old Bridge Cellars’ allegiance to fine wine and regional expression has been recognized in such publications as The Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Wine & Spirits, International Wine Cellar and Wine Enthusiast. Robert Parker of The Wine Advocate has gone so far as to say, “thanks in large part to the work of such talented importers as Old Bridge Cellars et all, American consumers have never had such an enormous selection of Australia’s finest as well as rarest wines.”
La Marmotte’s Chef D’ Cuisine Matt Hislop will bring dinner guests on a four course tasting experience that will include nods to the unique regions that produce these wines and culinary creations that reflect the artisanal foods movement - ingredients sourced from small farmers are lovingly guided into small batch creations by the hands of a skilled master with years of experience in their craft.

11:00am - 1:00pm: GRILLIN’ AND CHILLIN’
Location: Elks Park 122 South Oak Street Telluride, Co 81435
Nothing says summer like an afternoon grilling session, and this experience is sure to start your summer off with a sizzle! Join Food Network’s Iron Chef Showdown winner David Bancroft as he guides the group in selecting cuts of meat, choosing and applying a variety of rubs and the process of grilling the meats so that they are cooked to perfection every time on Green Egg’s unique and eye catching grills.
Bancroft learned to smoke brisket and barbecue in South Texas, where he developing a deep appreciation and care for the meat and its procurement process. He will be joined by Kayla Brack of the Schmid Family Ranch to discuss the importance of sourcing meats from regional farms whose practices produce quality meats.
The Schmid Family Ranch is a centennial farm on Wilson Mesa, about ten miles west of Telluride. The Ranch has been in operation since the family homesteaded in 1882. The Schmid Family strives to alter and improve the way our community consumes meat by offering a unique experience of being connected to the food we eat.
Wolfe Knives and Tahoe Kitchen Company will also be on site to show the proper slicing techniques to serve these beautiful cuts of meats.
2:00pm - 4:00pm: TABLE WINES
Location: Ah Haa School of the Arts 155 W Pacific Avenue Telluride, Co 81435
In restaurants throughout the countrysides all throughout Europe, wine lists are a rarity. Purveoyrs instead turn to generations of knowledge, and family history, instead creating wines from the vines on their properties, through a process passed down from generation to generation. At this intimate luncheon, you’ll sample regional favorites paired with a prix fixe menu, and hopefully leave with a new set of favorites to serve as your own “house wines.”
4:00pm - 7:00pm: GRAND TASTING

6:30pm - 9:30pm: ZAMORA WINE DINNER
Location: Side Work 225 S Pine Street Unit F Telluride, Co 81320
Transport yourself to the regions of Spain at this incredible dining concept featuring wines and spirits from Zamora Wines and the creative creations of Chef Tara of Sidework. This dinner will take guests on a culinary tour of the regions of Spain, connecting each bite and every sip with the incredible procurement, farming and fishing industries within the country.

Namaste, friends! Join us for a guided morning vinyasa yoga session on the beautiful San Sophia Overlook, taught to the rhythmic beats spun by Telluride’s resident DJ. During the class attendees will learn how yoga is not only a form of exercise, but an ancient technique for calming the nervous system, activating the senses, and cultivating present-moment awareness. Immediately following the yoga session, attendees are invited to explore those activated senses as they taste a curated wine or non alcoholic beverage flight.
10:00am - 2:00pm: FRIENDS WITH BENNIES BRUNCH
