The eatery is the second of its kind to open under the leadership of local owner Amarendra “Amar” Thummeti, who debuted the first location of The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill in Danville with the help of his wife and family earlier this year.

“We’re excited to open our second restaurant and expand access to healthier dining options in the San Ramon Valley,” said Thummeti, an information technology professional turned restauranteur who also owns an IT consulting firm. “We knew when we opened this restaurant that we wanted to be different and we’re proud of our commitment to prioritizing freshness, quality, convenience and customer service, so we can give our community the very best.”

The San Ramon restaurant seats 45 guests in the dining room and 10 on its patio.
