From: The Hoodoo Heritage Festival Halloween EditionCome celebrate the history of hoodoo in African American culture with us.
Hoodoo is a set of spiritual practices, traditions, and beliefs created and concealed from slaveholders by enslaved Africans in North America. Hoodoo evolved from various African Traditional Religions, practices, and in the American South incorporated with various elements of indigenous botanical knowledge. Hoodoo is an African Diaspora tradition created during the time of slavery in the UnitedStates and is an esoteric system of African-American occultism. Join us as we celebrate the tradition and heritage of our ancestors as we learn, heal, and circulate wealth within our community. This will take place at The Majik Trap from 6 pm to 11 pm. We will have several spiritual workshops available till 10 pm. We will have a plethora of vendors that sell everything from candles, all-natural body care products to crystals. You don’t want to miss this vibe!
Parking will be available in the front parking lot and across the street at the USPS.
