Join us on January 14th at 3pm for a discussion about process, inspiration, origin, ancestors and life as an artist with TNAS Korry Fellow Aisha Nailah and invited artists Melida McKenzie-Alford, Clymenza Hawkins, Shaunda Sekai-Holloway, Linda Mickens. This talk will be moderated by Artist, Poet and Community Organizer Shanna Melton.

Resident Artist Program: The Norwalk Art Space will grant four residencies, each with a one-year term from June 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025, to deserving local artists. Ideal candidates are early to mid-career artists needing studio space, with a strong interest in teaching students and developing community. Each artist will be given private studio space and exhibition space in our building, plus teacher training, all free!
Korry Fellow Program: The Norwalk Art Space will select 3-5 established CT-based artists for a one-year term, from June 2024 to May 31, 2025. Fellows will be selected based on outstanding artistic merit and a demonstrated interest in mentoring our Resident Artists and students. Each Fellow will work with our Executive Director to curate a 10-week exhibition in our stunning gallery, with free publicity and promotional materials.
