Hey NYCRUNNER -
We have nothing going on this weekend, so I thought I'd turn back the clock to the days when we shined a light on non-NYCRUNS races, in case you are looking for one.

Were I racing this weekend, I'd be thinking about the Forest Park Runners Classic put on by the Forest Park Runners out of Queens. To an extent I would be driven by a desire to head to nearby Flushing and eat some great food. However, in the past (at least 2x), I have run a 10 Miler in Long Beach that you could use as a launching pad for a day at the beach on Long Island. You can see where my head is this weekend I imagine.

Looking into June, we have two races on the horizon, both a few weeks off. First off, we have the NYCRUNS Lousy T-Shirt Race, which should sell out in the next week or so. A few days after that, we have the Brooklyn Cyclones Coney Island Classic - a real favorite!
