Celebrate summer! There are so many fun things to do in the Pioneer Valley during the summer months. It's a great time to get out and explore local sites of interest that you haven't visited before. And there is always a lot happening at the library! We've highlighted some upcoming events below - take a look and plan your next visit with us!
Little Kid Yoga
Monday, June 26 from 10:00 - 10:45 am
Join us for some gentle stretching and playful yoga! Recommended for kids ages 2 - 5 and their caregivers. No registration required! Limited yoga mats will be provided. Mats are not necessary for participation, but you may want to bring your own.
Out of the Archives: A Look Back at the Marshall Plan
Tuesday, June 27 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm
Enjoy this series of virtual presentations from a variety of presidential museums and libraries! Zoom in from anywhere for this week's talk by Mark Adams, Education Director at the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library & Museum. The program will be recorded and all registrants will receive the recording via email. So, please feel free to register even if you can't attend the live event.

50+ Job Seekers Networking Group
Wednesday, June 28 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Join us for the final session of this series as you build your job search toolkit and find support and advice in this networking group! This week's topic is: Networking Strategies and the importance of "Give to Get". Job seekers can join the group at any time. We hope to offer a new series beginning in August.

Pokémon Party for Kids!
Saturday, July 1 from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon
Join the staff of the Jones Library Kids' Room to celebrate all things Pokémon! Come make a craft, learn about your favorite Pokémon, take a picture in our photo booth, and check out some excellent books! This program is for kids ages 0 - 17 and their caregivers. No registration required!

It's time for summer reading!
Everyone can join in on the fun with the summer reading program! This year's theme for the summer reading program is "Find Your Voice". We encourage readers of all ages to register for the summer reading program and maybe find some new ways to find their voice this summer. Participants can register at the Jones Library, the North Amherst Library, or the Munson Memorial Library. Learn more!
Center Dance Summer Movement Program
Join our neighbors from The Center Dance for a gentle, joyful introduction to creative movement for toddlers and their caregivers. Simple, engaging picture books will spark young imaginations, while caregivers bond with children, socialize with other adults, and generally rock out! This program will meet on Mondays, July 3 - 24, from 10:30 - 11:30 am, and is recommended for children ages 2 - 5 and their caregivers. No registration required!

MCB Reading Challenge
We're proud to be partnering with Massachusetts Center for the Book on their 2023 Reading Challenge! Each month has a new theme. It's time to submit your June read (a book set in a country you have never visited) and start thinking about the title you will select for July (a book borrowed from your local library).
