THIS JUST IN!
Now & Forever Our Wifi Just Got a Whole Lot Better!
All the Thomas County Public Library's wifi connection just became a whole lot better! As of last week, every TCPLS library branch received a new Cisco Meraki wireless access point (five [5] were installed in the main Thomasville branch). What does this mean for you? Greater range of coverage (so no "dead-zones" in the library); faster download and upload speeds (87.2 mbps download & 93.2 mbps upload - higher than your average household speeds - things just got faster); and four (4) times the capability to maintain numerous devices. Still working from home and need a quiet place? Taking online classes and looking for a space to study? Need to create a TikTok video to showcase how scholarly you are? We have you covered!
