From: Tifton - Tift County Public Library1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
Attention parents and caregivers of littles! The Tifton- Tift County Public Library is now participating in the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten! If you have a little person between the ages of 0-5, please register them in our wonderful 1,000 books before Kindergarten reading club! If you read just 1 book a night, you will have read about 365 books in a year. That is 730 books in two years and 1,095 books in three years. The library provides reading logs, milestone incentives (every 100 books) and a completion prize! The real prize is that your little reader will be on their way to a successful school career! In addition to families, this is a perfect program for daycares, pre-k's, and other organizations who spend time with little people. Share this with your childcare provider and let's help our littles fall in love with reading!
