Dedham 2023 Town Election Information and Deadlines

The 2023 Annual Town Election will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 and polls will be open in all seven precincts from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The following list includes important dates for voting in Dedham:

- Tuesday, January 17, 2023: First day to pull nomination papers from the Town Clerk’s Office. Nominations papers may ONLY be picked up by a candidate or person who has written authorization from the candidate.

- Friday, February 10, 2023: Final day to submit written notice to become a candidate for reelection as a Town Meeting Member, by 5:00 p.m.

- Wednesday, February 15, 2023: Last day to pull nomination papers from the Town Clerk’s Office, by 5:00 p.m.

- Friday, February 17, 2023: Last day to submit nomination papers to Board of Registrars for certification of signatures, by 5:00 p.m.

- Tuesday, March 7, 2023: Last day to withdraw nomination papers from election or object, by 5:00 p.m.

- Wednesday, March 29, 2023: Last day to register to vote in the 2023 Annual Town Election*.

- Monday, April 3, 2023: Deadline to receive an application from the Town Clerk’s office for a mail-in ballot.

Voter registration takes place daily at the Town Clerk’s Office at Town Hall, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.
