From: Town of JupiterBrightline Conducting High Speed Testing Through Jupiter
Brightline announced Wednesday, March 1 that it will continue high-speed testing in northern Palm Beach County through the month of March. In addition to Jupiter, high-speed testing, where trains will reach up to 110 miles per hour, will occur in Palm Beach Gardens, North Palm Beach, Lake Park, Riviera Beach and West Palm Beach daily between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. In Jupiter, flaggers will be present at Frederick Small Road and Donald Ross Road and there will be an increased law enforcement presence when active testing is taking place.
Brightline has made safety improvements at all crossings within Jupiter. However, motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians are encouraged to take caution at all railway crossings and along the tracks. Rail traffic will run in both directions on both tracks during the testing.
