Heroic Manchester Teacher Saves Driver
Last week, Manchester First Responders responded to I-384 eastbound for a car fire. Heather Sica-Leonard, a middle school teacher at Illing, approached the burning vehicle & selflessly got John & his wheelchair out of the car to safety. Her actions averted an almost certain fatal outcome & prevented anyone from being injured.
FY24 Budget Workshops
The Town of Manchester will be holding several upcoming FY24 Budget Workshops.
These meetings will be held in person at the Lincoln Center Hearing Room (494 Main St, Manchester, CT) and can be watched live on Silk City TV, Facebook Live, or Cox Channel 16.

The MAA will host 3 workshops in March: A color theory workshop March 8, A watercolor workshop March 18, and An “Intro to Abstract Art” workshop March 22.

"Women of the Cheney Family" Exhibit Dedication
Join us at the Manchester Historical Society, 175 Pine Street, Manchester CT on Sunday, March 5 from 1:00 - 4:00 as we dedicate the newest exhibit at the Cheney Homestead Museum.
CDBG Public Hearings
CDBG Public Hearings: Residents are invited to provide input on how to spend Manchester’s federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds during the program year that begins October 1, 2023. Hybrid public hearings will be held Tuesday, February 28th at 11am and 5:30pm. In-person attendees will meet in the Lincoln Center Hearing Room, 494 Main St.
Persons who wish to attend virtually must submit a request to [email protected]. Only those who submit a request will receive a link to join the meeting.
