Dog Park Proposal Provokes Some Ire
A Valentine's Day public hearing will be held at Town Hall Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. to discuss a proposed dog park on Westside Road. The park application, submitted by the Norfolk Community Association on behalf of Friends of the Norfolk Community Dog Park, may have been initiated by dog lovers, but that love has not always been returned by residents who fear noise would be generated by the park. New Group Forming to Oversee City Meadow
The Selectmen are establishing a group of volunteers to act as the overseers of City Meadow. The new group, “Friends of the Meadow,” will assist in organizing yearly maintenance, upgrades as needed, will organize and sponsor events in the meadow and Robertson Plaza, and will spearhead fundraising. Tax Appeals Require Written Request
Taxpayers wishing to appeal assessments on the October 1, 2022 Real Estate and/or Personal Property List, or the 2021 Supplemental Motor Vehicle List, must make a written request to the Board of Assessment Appeals for a hearing. Read more.

The Norfolk Land Trust annual meeting will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Hub, 2 Station Place. During a business meeting, members will vote on the slate of directors and discuss land trust plans. Read more

Library to Screen "Bob, A Street Car"
The Norfolk Library will screen an untraditional love story Monday at 5:00 p.m. The story tells of a homeless man and an injured street cat that he nurses back to health. The film won the Best British Film award at the National Film Awards, UK. Read more.
