Happy Thursday! We hope everyone is having a wonderful week. We have some exciting new programs and updates to share with you! We hope you'll join us at Second Saturday at Steam Pump Ranch this weekend! Please read on to learn more and stay safe and healthy Oro Valley!

SECOND SATURDAY AT STEAM PUMP RANCH
Date: Saturday, June 10
Time: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Location: Steam Pump Ranch, 10901 N. Oracle Road
Details: Second Saturday at Steam Pump Ranch is a great opportunity to view unique handcrafted products and find out about special services offered by our local business owners. But that's not all, there will be crafts for kids in the Heritage Garden and our great Heirloom Farmer's Market.

ROUND UP AT THE RANCH 5K
Date: Sunday, June 18
Time: 6 a.m.
Location: Steam Pump Ranch, 10901 N. Oracle Road
Details: This 8th annual summer 5K will take place along the multi-use path, beginning at Steam Pump Ranch, and will include snacks, water, and a water balloon toss. Runners, walkers and strollers welcome! A different course than the Hot Cocoa 5k, this race will head east toward Catalina State Park. Prizes to overall male and female winners, and age group prizes (every 10 years). Proceeds from this event will benefit the Town's Round Up for Youth Recreation Scholarship Program.

MOVIES ON THE LAWN - Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile
Date: Saturday, June 17
Time: 7:30 p.m. (movie will begin at sundown approximately 7:45 p.m.)
Location: Oro Valley Community Center, 10555 N. La Canada Dr. located on the backside of the facility near the golf driving range
Details: Join us for a fun night out with family and friends for a movie under the stars. The movies will begin shortly after sundown (approximately 7:45 p.m.) and will take place on the lawn near the driving range. This is a free community event (no pre-registration required) and will feature Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, an animated musical comedy. The plot focuses on a family who moves to New York City, where their struggling son befriends a singing crocodile and tries to protect him from the rest of the world. The first 40 participants will receive a complimentary bag of popcorn!

TRIVIA AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER
Date: Saturday, June 17
Time: 4-6 p.m. (quiz begins at 4:30 p.m.)
Location: Overlook Restaurant at the Community Center, 10555 N. La Canada Drive
Details: Join us for trivia at the Overlook located at the Community & Recreation Center! The event will include a 75-minute traditional bar-style trivia session, happy hour deals on food and drinks and a child watch option for parents with kiddos. Participation in trivia is free; however, the child watch service will be $5 per child. Pre-registration is required and participant registration is only required by one person per team (up to 6 players per team).
