Happy Thanksgiving! We hope everyone has some fun plans for the holiday break. Don't forget to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather! As a reminder, the Oro Valley Aquatic Center and Community & Recreation Center will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and both will have normal hours of operation Friday through Sunday. ORO VALLEY HIKING SERIES

Time: 7 a.m. - 10 a.m.

Details: Whether you are looking to dip your toe into hiking for the first time or are a seasoned hiker looking to get some more miles under your belt, the Oro Valley Hiking Series is here for you! Our guided hikes are the perfect way to spend some time with your friends, make new ones and explore new trails in Oro Valley and surrounding areas.

PARENTS NIGHT OUT
Date: Friday, December 8
Time: 6-10 p.m.
Location: Steam Pump Ranch, 10901 N. Oracle Road
Age(s): 5-12
Fee: $20
Details: Drop off the kids at Steam Pump Ranch and go enjoy your evening. Great opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done! We will treat your kids to a movie, games, crafts, pizza, and snacks. We know you work hard, and we want you to play hard or maybe just take a nap without someone saying "look at me!"

SECOND SATURDAY AT STEAM PUMP RANCH
Date: Saturday, December 9
Time: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Location: Steam Pump Ranch, 10901 N. Oracle Road
Details: One of Steam Pump Ranch's favorite community events, Second Saturdays, takes place on the second Saturday of each month from October through April. Each event will include tours of the historical area of the property, prehistoric demonstrations, the Oro Valley Farmer's Market, the Makers Market featuring arts and crafts from community creatives, and kids' crafts. WINTER CAMP AT STEAM PUMP RANCH

Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Location: Steam Pump Ranch, 10901 N Oracle Road
Details: We’re thrilled to be offering a 3-day winter break camp for kids to enjoy. We hope to bring the learning of STEAM Camp, the joy of Nature Camp, and the laid-back spontaneity of the beloved “Snow Day” to our 3-Day Camp. Activities may include: desert "snow-shoeing," ice cube tie-dye, learning how to make snow, enjoying hot cocoa, and more!
