Tolland Fire Department will be conducting a Heartsaver CPR Class on January 26th, 2023

Who: Tolland residents

What: American Heart Association's Heartsaver CPR class (for a 2 year certification)

Where: TFD Training Center

When: Thursday, January 26th, 2023.  6pm to 9pm.  Sorry, no walk-ins, pre-registration is required.

Why:   The Heartsaver CPR AED Course provides the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of CPR and how to use an AED. The course empowers students to act with confidence in the event of an emergency at work, home, or in the community.

Heartsaver CPR AED is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs CPR AED training and a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared to act in an emergency.

Other Details:

The cost is $65 per person, course materials and keyring face shield provided.  Checks are payable to Town of Tolland.  

Space is limited, so reservations are required.  If you are interested in attending, please send an email to [email protected] and your spot in the class will be confirmed by email.  In order to be certified, you must be able to kneel on the floor and perform chest compressions (floor padding will be provided).
