The Town of Westport is placing weight limits on all Town roads beginning on March 1, 2023

Weight limits will be lifted TBD

Effective March 1, 2023, all Town roads will have an 8-ton limit on truck weight. This weight limit will remain in place, weather dependent, as late as April 15, 2023. Once weight restrictions have been lifted we will post a notice here. Please do not contact the office for a suspected lift date. 

During this time:

-Weight limits are restricted to 8 tons.

-Stay off of the road edges.

-All trucks must keep tag axles down at all times, including times idling on roadsides while waiting to unload at project sites.
