Government and Politics

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — On March 4th night, Donald Trump delivered yet another chaotic and incoherent speech—one filled with volume but devoid of substance. Americans are struggling under the weight of high prices, yet Trump doubled down on policies that will only make life harder for working families. His reckless trade war threats, attacks on allies, and promises to fire government workers in favor of personal loyalists prove one thing: he’s not interested in helping Americans get ahead—he’s interested in power, plain and simple.
The contrast couldn’t be clearer: Trump’s vision is one of American empire, not American prosperity. He talks about "America First," but his policies would leave America isolated and Americans paying more for groceries, cars, homes, and medicine. His tariff war would drive up costs while his threats to privatize Social Security would put the retirement security of millions at risk.
What Trump didn’t say was just as revealing as what he did. He had no plan to lower prices for families, no commitment to protecting Medicare or veterans' benefits, and no interest in strengthening America's alliances. Instead, he focused on political retribution and personal gain.
Democrats must stay focused and resist this dangerous agenda. The American people deserve leadership that fights for them, not chaos and cronyism. The stakes couldn’t be higher. The choice is clear: a country that stands together or an America left behind and alone.
