Chess Club for Kids

Monday, October 16th

5:00 pm | LBK Auditorium

Discover the basics, cool tricks, strategies, and tactics in chess with a certified chess coach from ChessKidsNation. Chess Club meets on the 3rd Monday each month. All skill levels are welcome and supplies will be provided. Open to K - 8th grade students.

Registration is encouraged to ensure we have enough supplies for everyone.

Writing Workshop for Kids: The Skull

Thursday, October 19th

4:00 pm | LBK Auditorium

Join us for a creative writing workshop as we make alternate endings for "The Skull: A Tyrolean Folktale" by Jon Klassen. During this program, we will read the story together and pause to create our own endings before learning how Klassen concludes his book. 

Best for 3rd - 6th grade students. Register HERE to reserve your spot!
