Winter Workspace Program 

Session 1: January 6 – March 2, 2025

Session 2: March 3 – April 27, 2025 

Wave Hill is pleased to announce the 13 artists participating in the 2025 Winter Workspace residency program. Winter Workspace offers two, back-to-back, eight-week sessions for New York-area artists to develop and create work informed by the site, ecology and history of Wave Hill. Artists are encouraged to expand their practices using resources from the garden, including access to Wave Hill’s thriving plant collections, horticultural and curatorial staff, history, architecture and visitors. Session 1 of the 2025 residency begins Jan 6. 

Now in its 16th year, Winter Workspace has supported more than 165 emerging and mid-career artists with studio space and funding. Wave Hill is proud to be counted among New York's prestigious and established artist residencies. As the artists themselves affirm:

Drop-In Sundays: February 2 and February 9, 1PM –  3PM

Open Studios: Saturday, March 1, 12:30PM – 3:30PM

Session 2

March 4 – April 27

Participating artists: Ursula Endlicher, Saba Farhoudnia, Kris Grey, John Reynolds, Jennifer Schmidt, Toisha Tucker.

Drop-In Sundays: April 6 and April 13, 1PM –  3PM

Open Studios: Saturday, April 26, 12:30PM – 3:30PM
