Library History Displays
Our sparkling new vitrine now holds some fascinating artifacts from our history, including the original signatures of donors who contributed to the first library fund in 1848; some books from the first collection; and pictures of our founding fathers. On the Express Book counter, you’ll find images of early librarians, along with models of some of the library’s buildings over the years.
Teen Crafternoon: Cardboard Cats
Stop by the Teen Loft and create some adorable cardboard cats! We will use simple materials and make the cats little yarn sweaters. For teens in grades 6 and up.

Buildwave: A Hands-On Building Game
In this hands-on building game, children will create with over a dozen different building materials. As children build with wave after wave of new objects, they gain creative confidence, become better collaborators, and solve design and engineering challenges. The program is run by educators at Buildwave. For children ages 5 and up, with caregivers. Registration required.
