At twenty-three years old, she became the teacher of Laura Bridgman, the most famous deaf-blind person in America before Helen Keller. Wight is the subject of a fascinating new exhibit in the vitrine on the main floor. Join us on June 20th for an author talk on Laura Bridgeman.
