Many organizations take volunteers who are under 18! You’re sure to find a volunteer opportunity that works for you. Registration is not required to attend this IN PERSON event.

39^th Annual MLK Celebration and Breakfast. 

For January 15, 2024 at 8:30am. Please join us, in-person, to honor Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's legacy of hope.  World-renowned expert on negotiation and conflict resolution, Yvonne Renee Davis discusses “The Impact of Silence”.  Tickets $20 /students $5) full breakfast included.  At First Congregational Church on the Branford Green.

On January 27, 2024, Tilde Cafe will meet in person at the Willoughby Wallace Memorial Library (unless things change at the last minute, in which case we will have to lean on good old Zoom) for a fascinating conversation with Professor Stavroula Hatzios. Back in 2010, Professor Paula Kavathas had introduced us to the concept of communal harmony between humans and microbes. Since that time, if you check Google Trends or the Google Ngram Viewer, you will find that interest has grown in this area of science.
