The 2023-24 school year kicked off on Tuesday, August 15 with students from across Westminster Public Schools showing up for their first day with new clothes, a touch of nerves and excitement about what the next nine months hold in store for them.

FOOTBALL TEAM TAKES ITS TRAINING CAMP TO GREELEY
This summer, the Westminster High School football team participated in its very first overnight football camp at the University of Northern Colorado.
VALLEZ CENTER TO OFFER ESL AND GED CLASSES TO WESTMINSTER COMMUNITY
The newly opened Daniel C. Vallez Family Education Center will offer High School Equivalency (GED) programs and English as a Second Language (ESL) courses as part of the district’s mission to support families in the area.
WPS TEST SCORES IMPROVE BUT ‘LOST LEARNING’ FROM PANDEMIC REMAINS A CONCERN
Just-released results from statewide spring tests show a slight improvement in Math and English Language Arts for Westminster Public School students with the district as a whole showing modestly bigger gains than the state of Colorado.

Breauja Davis
As a student AVID leader, Beauja was one of three students chosen to attend the national conference in Denver at the Gaylord and represent Westminster Public Schools and Orchard Park Academy.

Whether she is managing our WPS websites and social media campaigns or organizing our Retirement Celebration and Backpack Giveaway, Angelica brings a high level of professionalism to her job.
