Sonic of Linden Hot Dog Contest Returns!

It's back and it's bad!  Our second annual hot dog eating contest returns with the support of our exceptional sponsor, Sonic of Linden!   

Last year, lots of hungry contestants vied for the opportunity to win a custom hot dog trophy and a $100 cash prize.

Pint-Sized Fun in the Park!

What's a festival without lots of fun for kids?  

We're planning more  great times in Avinger's Community Park, with free face painting, an animal education center, and fun inflatables.

Schedule:

Starts at 10 am

10:30 am - Dog Show, Festival Ground Bandstand

11:00 am - Wine Garden opens. $10 entry, wine glass & bag included. Bottle Wine Raffles throughout the day.

12:30 pm - Hot Dog Eating Contest, Sponsored by Sonic of Linden. Festival Ground Bandstand

4:00 pm - Community Parade, downtown

5:30 pm - BINGO, AVFD Building, Church Street

All Day - 92.3 FM radio The Depot Remote, Shopping, Food Trucks, Jeeps, , Corn Hole, Wildflower Seed Bombs, Wine Garden, Art & Photography Show,  Kids’ Activities - Face Painting, Inflatables, Ring Toss, Rock Painting & Educational Zoo.
