Get your cooking team together and get ready to cook up your best chicken wings for this year's Wing Dang Doodle Festival slated for Saturday. Teams will vie for bragging rights and a $1000.00 grand prize for the best grilled, smoked or fried chicken wings in the area. This year's main event will feature Traveling Jane. Activities are planned throughout the day for all ages. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon.

With Scott County being the nation's fifth largest poultry-producing county and blues being one of the state's largest cultural products, the Wing Dang Doodle Festival evolved into a good time. Arts and crafts, vendors and a chicken cooking contest will delight all festival participants.  Admission is free so come and have a "wing dang doodle" of a time and enjoy a little southern hospitality in this city called Forest.

The Wing Dang Doodle Festival will start at 8:00am with a chicken wing cooking contest, 5k run/walk & fun run, wing eating contest, live music, food vendors, retail vendors and other activities.
