8am: Registration starts for the Explore Fitness Snowshoe 5k – Lead Dog Park
8:30am-10:30am: Explore Fitness Snowshoe 5k – Starts at Lead Dog Park and snowshoes will be provided.
9:30am: Registration starts for the Fat Tire Bike Race or Ride – Tamahawk Country Club. $25 entry fee, kids free
10am: Fat Tire Bike Race or Ride – Tomahawk Country Club. “The Gold Nugget Giveaway”: Axbow Rentals – $25 entry fee, kids free – 3 or 9 mile course and $250 cash giveaway with door prizes for top finishers.
10am-2pm: Cookie Decorating and Hot Chocolate Bar – Rustic Nook Bakery
10am-12pm: Winter Take and Make Art Booth and Temporary Tattoos – Creative Explorations
10:30am-1pm: Explore Fitness: Eagle Cliffs Trails Adventure Snowshoeing (meet at Explore Fitness to carpool)
11am-4pm: Sled Hills
- Northern Hills Recreation Association: Alert Street next to city hall
- LDHS Key Club: Manual Brothers Park – please bring a hat and/or gloves to donate
12pm-worn out: Fire Pits, BBQ, and Music Jams on the patio – Dakota Shivers Brewing
11am-4:30pm: Mile High Songwriter Showcase
-12:30pm-1:30pm – Tony Speiser – Dakota Shivers Brewing
-2pm-3pm – Bobbie Jo Kuhl – That Place
2pm-5pm: Flannel and Flame Party – Homestake Opera House. Firepits and hot chocolate.
4:45pm: Plow Truck Lighted Parade – Main Street. Miners & Merchants will provide lights for 50% for the trucks in the parade. Contact the Chamber to register. Lead up at 4:30pm at Lead High School.
5pm-7pm: Fireworks VIP Viewing Party and Songwriter Collaboration – Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center
5pm: Bonfire – Explore Dance Company. Fundraiser Chili Feed
5:45pm: Winterfest Bonfire – Visitor Center Parking Lot
6pm: Fireworks – Manuel Brother’s Park
7pm: Karaoke Party – Greenfield Pub

1pm-3pm: Family Movie-Cool Runnings – Handley Center
All Day – Miles Beyond Ordinary Adventures:  Cross Country Skiing, Fat Tire Biking, Snowmobiling and Sledding at these Lead area locations: Manuel Brothers Park, Eagle Cliff Trails; Homestake Trail, Iron Creek Trail; Mickelson Trail and the Black Hills Snowmobile Trail. Contact local businesses for hotel and equipment rental availability.
