MADISON, WI - On December 7, 2024, Brian Schimming was re-elected Chairman of the Republican Party of Wisconsin for a second term. Schimming was first elected in December 2022.

Under Chairman Brian Schimming’s leadership, the Republican Party of Wisconsin delivered Wisconsin’s 10 Electoral Votes to President Donald J. Trump, only the second time a Republican Presidential candidate has won Wisconsin since 1984. Additionally, Republicans held onto its 6-2 Republican delegation in the U.S. House and maintained Republican majorities in the state legislature. Republicans also saw success at the local level and nearly defeated entrenched Senator Tammy Baldwin, her closest election to date.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to continue leading the Republican Party of Wisconsin and to elect Republicans across Wisconsin. Our success in 2024 is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of every volunteer, donor, and supporter. I am humbled to have earned their confidence and look forward to building off our success in 2025 and beyond.” said WisGOP Chairman Brian Schimming.

As Chairman Schimming begins his next term, the Republican Party of Wisconsin is already preparing for the 2025 spring elections.

Other WisGOP leaders elected at Saturday’s Executive Committee meeting include First Vice-Chairman Bill Feehan, Second Vice-Chairman Kathy Kiernan, Secretary Tyler Vorpagel, Treasurer Kelly Ruh, and Member At-Large Will Martin.
