BY MICHELLE FALCON FONTANEZ MATRIA is a photo series highlighting five influential Puerto Rican women in Holyoke who have driven positive community change through activism, education, resource connection, and volunteer work.

Featured leaders include Gladys Lebron-Martinez. Maria Salgado-Cartagena. Marisela Alvarado. Marisol Fontanez Cuadrado. and Yamaris Rivera.

After debuting at Wistariahurst. it will move to Holyoke^s Puerto Rican Cultural District in Spring 2025. open to a wider audience. The exhibition by Michelle Falcon Fontanez runs Mondays (10am-2pm) and Tuesdays (4:30pm-6:30pm) from January 13th to March 25th, 2025, with free admission for all.
