The season also includes Beetlejuice JR., Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon KIDS, and Magic Tree House: The Knight at Dawn KIDS. The annual Peter and the Wolf/Nutcracker "Sweet" presentation from the Woodland Opera House Education Program will return as well in December!

Amélie the Musical is based on the 2001 French film of the same name. The musical tells the story of Amélie Poulain, a shy and imaginative Parisian woman who decides to secretly perform acts of kindness for the people around her. The musical features a captivating score while following Amélie as she discovers the power of human connection and learns to open herself up to love and friendship. It delves into Amélie's vivid inner life and fantasies, her relationship with her father, and her blossoming romance with a quirky man named Nino.

Blue Note Brewing Company is releasing a beer for Amélie the Musical! This Lager will go on sale starting January 17, 2025 and proceeds of the sale of the beer will go towards the Woodland Opera House. You must be 21+ to drink and always drink responsibly. Thank you, Blue Note Brewing!

Broadway Masterclass: Hamilton Dance Workshop

Step into the world of Hamilton with an incredible Dance Workshop led by a cast member from the National Tour! This is a unique opportunity for dancers ages 12 through adult to learn Broadway choreography and elevate their skills. (Parents, you can sign up, too!)

When: Saturday, January 18th, 10:00-11:30 AM

Cost: Only $30

Who: All levels welcome! Beginners will have fun, and experienced dancers will be challenged.

For students in Hip Hop 2, don’t worry-there’s a makeup class at 1:00 PM that day.

Don't Miss Out! Discover the art of Acting with our New Scene Study Workshops for Youth and Teens!

This spring, young actors have the perfect opportunity to sharpen their skills with our Scene Study Classes! Tailored for ages 9-12 and 13-18, these workshops focus on character development, script analysis, and the collaborative process of bringing scenes to life.

• Intro to Scene Study (Ages 9-12): Tuesdays, 4:00-5:00 PM. $200 for 12 weeks
• Advanced Scene Study (Ages 13-18): Tuesdays, 5:00-6:30 PM, $275 for 12 weeks

Both classes run from January 28 through April 15 and conclude with a parent showcase on the final day. Led by Teaching Artist Karen Fox, this is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring actors to gain confidence and grow their craft!

Save the Date: ShowBiz Kidz Enrollment Opens on January 8th! 

Join us for an unforgettable summer of music, dance, and fun as we step into the spotlight with ShowBiz Kidz: Tinseltown Tunes! This exciting camp runs from June 16th through July 13th, 2025, and culminates in a fully produced musical revue celebrating the magic of Hollywood. 

We offer three age-specific groups to ensure every performer gets the best experience possible:

Morning Group

- Ages: 8-10
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM

Afternoon Group

- Ages: 11-17
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM-4:00 PM

Junior Group

- Ages: 5-7 (must have completed kindergarten)
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 4:30 PM-5:30 PM

Important Details

- Tuition: $400 for Morning and Afternoon Groups (non-refundable once paid in full).
- Payment Deadline: May 16th, 2025.
- Mandatory Attendance: All rehearsals and performances are required.
- Age Brackets: Age requirements are firm; students must meet the minimum age by the start of camp.
