Yachats Commons
5:00 p.m: The Festival kicks off with a Traditional Tapping of the Keg and the singing of the Yachats Oktoberfest Song

5:30 p.m - 9:00 p.m: Polkafest
There’ll be plenty of dancing, beer, and brats If you don’t know how to polka, we’ll teach you Friday events are free. (Beer, Brats, and Pretzels available for purchase.)

The celebration spreads throughout the community
11:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m: Volkswalk
You can participate in the Volkswalk. Stop by the Pavillion behind the Commons, and purchase your Volkswalk Passport for $5.00, then visit our local participating businesses and gather your passport stamps.  Receive a passport stamp at each business you visit.  If you make a purchase, you'll receive an additional stamp.  Turn in your completed passport by 2:00 PM to be entered into a raffle for an authentic German souvenir.

1:00 p.m - 3:00 p.m: Wine Tasting at Beach Daisy Wine. Sample a variety of specially selected German Wines and noshes.
1:00 p.m - 3:00 p.m: Beer Tasting at Yachats Brewing. Sample their special Yachats Oktoberfest Brew, made just for the festival, as well as a selection of other beers from their tap list.
2:00 p.m: Home Brew Workshop with Walter. Walter is the brewer for Yachats Brewing.

Saturday Evening

4:00 p.m - 6:00 p.m: Oktoberfest First Dinner Seating
7:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m: Oktoberfest Second Dinner Seating
Music, Dancing, Beer, Brats, other traditional German foods, AND a Commemorative Yachats Oktoberfest Beer Stein
Tickets are $40.00, and seating is limited. Purchase tickets at www.yachats.org

10:00 a.m: The festival closes with a Traditional Harvest Worship at Yachats Community Presbyterian Church, reception to follow.
