From: YMCA Of San Joaquin CountySummer is Calling: Healthy Choices, Safe Adventures, Nonstop Fun!
Free and open to the public, this annual event features a day of fun-filled activities to celebrate kids being kids.
What: The YMCA of San Joaquin County is hosting the Y’s annual Healthy Kids Day® located at Stocklandia on the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds. This free, annual event features a variety of family-friendly activities to encourage healthy kids, healthy families and a healthy start to the summer season. Some featured activities include Zumba, Yoga, Giant Jenga, Soccer Darts, Relay Races, Free food to the first 200 ticketed youth, and more.
The Y’s Healthy Kids Day is sponsored nationally by Peanuts.
Photo Op: YSJC's Youth Sports will have games playing to showcase the talent of the youth in our programs. Yoga will be happening the first hour of the event. Food trucks will be on site for yummy treats and eats. Vendors include the Emergency Food Bank, Catholic Charities, El Concilio, Valley Mountain Regional Center, and more.
Local sponsors include Kaiser Permanente, Community Medical Centers WIC, California Tees and First 5 of California.
