Appell Center for the Performing Arts is thrilled to host the second annual York County Student Music Festival, showcasing the up-and-coming musical talent in and around York County.

Join us on February 15th in the historical Capitol Theatre as eight groups from across the region perform music from pop to rock to RandB and support the next generation of live music!

As part of their participation, performing bands will receive one-on-one instruction with New York-based drummer and educator Peter Lazorcik.  Pete, who grew up in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, within a musical family, is a graduate of Manhattan School of Music, and is currently the drummer for the band Daisy Grenade, who has toured with bands like Fall Out Boy, The Maine and Pierce The Veil.
