Mission:
To engage, educate, and provoke our diverse community with excellent theatre and arts education.
Vision:
24th Street Theatre envisions an inventive hybrid arts organization like no other! We envision both a first class Arts Organization and a Public Benefit service provider, which uses art as a tool with which to positively impact our world. We envision a new breed of Arts Organization in which the term MAIN STAGE does not exist… where all artistic programming is of equal value; our acclaimed season theatrical productions for adult audiences and family audiences, our FREE after school arts enrichment programs, our Teatro Nuevo Latino Initiative projects, our music series, our outreach programs for at-risk teens, our free community events, our teacher training programs, as well as our Gallery exhibits. 24th Street envisions building artistic bridges with theatres across the nation, and internationally. We envision using those relationships to bring acclaimed performances & workshops from around the world. We also envision taking our work to other parts of the globe. And as we grow, we shall continue to serve a variety of diverse audiences with our art in the forms of performance, outreach, and educational programming of the highest possible caliber!
