Mission Statement :

The school serves as an integral part of a student's total environment by providing extensive educational opportunities that enable each student to become active, independent, lifelong learners in a technological world. The educational experiences stress both single and multi-disciplinary activities that focus on teaching basic skills and concepts while developing techniques in problem solving, critical thinking, communicating ideas and working collaboratively and cooperating with others. Emphasis is given to help each student in stimulating a positive self-concept, showing respect in a multi-cultural society, understanding civic and financial responsibilities, and achieving career aspirations.

About Us :

A-CCentralSchool District was formed by the consolidation of the Ashland Community School District and the ChandlervilleCommunitySchool District. Currently the junior high is in Chandlerville and the high school and elementary are in Ashland. The Unit Office is adjacent to the high school and elementary building in Ashland. The district has 475 students. Ashland is approximately 21 miles from Springfield. It is 20 miles from Jacksonville. Chandlerville is a town of 600 people and Ashland is a town of 1200 people.
