I am David Hatton, and I'm from Manchester, England. I spent one year living in the North West Suburbs of Chicago and loved my time there so much than many of the towns there have become a basis for a book I wrote called Across The Miles. This is free online book which will be uploaded chapter by chapter on my website so keep looking back for more. The book is about a 20 year old girl called Emily who has moved to Chicago-area for the first time after breaking up with her boyfriend, Richard. The two cannot fight their feelings however and begin a relationship across thousands of miles with only the use of a pen and paper.  Lake Zurich is one of the towns within the novel and hope it brings tourism, awareness, wealth and prosperity to the town with literature tourism.
