Since its beginnings in the 1800's, Afton School has built its reputation on tradition and innovation.

As a Middle States Accredited institution, ACS maximizes the expertise of its staff and the resourcefulness of its community to meet New York State's challenging academic standards.

ACS serves 800 K-12 students within a single structure that has grown over the years as a result of the community's educational priorities. An Elementary wing was completed in 1994, and our 2001 building project included a new auditorium, gymnasium, and library, as well as new and improved athletic fields.

This commitment to programs and facilities is a reflection of the people who live and work here. A thriving Parent-Teacher Organization, Athletic Booster Clubs, sponsorship by SERTOMA International, and active participation in district and civic committees demonstrate that ongoing partnership.
