Aiken Council of Garden Clubs is composed of six federated garden clubs located in Aiken, SC. We promote and facilitate the sharing of knowledge, opportunities, and activities through cooperative efforts among area garden clubs and assist in the formation of new garden clubs. We offer public speakers to local organizations at no cost and provide lectures to the community on topics of interest such as garden design, plant propogation, flower arranging, and wildlife habitat enrichment. We serve as a public resource for local and state information on gardening events, and maintain a library of garden books for public use on-site at our headquarters, the historic Doll House in Hopelands Gardens on Sundays from 2-5pm. We plant and maintain the garden area adjacent to the Doll House, and for three weeks at Christmas, open and staff the Doll House nightly for the City of Aiken's Lights in the Park Christmas Festival.
