Mission:
To promote business prosperity, tourism, and community involvement by providing information, services and advocacy for the Algoma community and our members.
About Us:
Nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan is our quaint community in Northeast Wisconsin. Whether you are looking to reel in the big one on Lake Michigan, stroll our beautiful sandy beach and boardwalk or just relax with a glass of wine from a historic winery after a day of shopping and sightseeing, we have a place reserved just for you!
About the Chamber: The Algoma Area Chamber of Commerce is a membership-driven organization. The day-to-day operations are handled by our Executive Director Sara Krouse who also represents the Chamber within many organizations across the area from the Green Bay CVB to the Algoma Tourism & Promotions committee.
Our Board of Directors is comprised of elected volunteers from member businesses who are dedicated investors in our community. We thank them all for the time and dedication they give guiding the events and activities of the Chamber.
The Chamber offices are in the lower level of the Algoma Visitor Center, which has a million-dollar view and thanks to our volunteers, greets over 22,000 visitors to our city each year.
Neither the Chamber nor the Visitor Center operates under the umbrella of the City of Algoma. As a matter of fact, the City of Algoma is a member of the Chamber! It is our great pleasure to promote and support our members who help make Algoma a great place in which to live, work, and play.
