HISTORY

It is the mission of All Saints Lutheran Church to be a family of faith, empowered by God to proclaim Jesus Christ.

The first interest meetings and bible study were held in the home of our pastor, Richard Malivuk, in Northdale, just north of Tampa, Florida. The Florida-Bahamas Synod officially called Pastor Malivuk on September 6, 1983.  Between December 1983 and May 1984, Pastor Malivuk knocked on the doors of more than 10,000 homes in the Northdale, Carrollwood and Lutz communities.  Construction of our new sanctuary began on June 27, 1989, and with the help of God and the hands of our members, it was completed on February 23, 1990.  On March 4, 1990, the first worship service was conducted and on November 3, 1985, the service of organization was presided over by Bishop Royall A. Yount.   In November 2010, our congregation paid off the mortgage and celebrated its 25th Anniversary.

All Saints continues to grow its outreach ministries including:  Christian Social Services, Land O'Lakes; YES! of America United, Tampa;  A Brighter Community Preschool, Tampa; and the Meals on Wheels Program, Lutz. 

We have an active youth program and many small groups that nurture our discipleship growth through the principles of "PoWeR SuRGe":  Pray Daily, Worship Weekly, Read Scripture, Serve Inside and Outside our Congregation, Relationship Building, and Giving of our Time, Talents, and Gifts. 

We serve the North Tampa, Keystone, Odessa, New Port Richey, Palm Harbor, Land O'Lakes, Wesley Chapel, Zephryhills, Valrico, Citrus Park, Carrollwood, and Northdale communities.
