ACS is a K-8 school serving approximately 615 students who live in Alton, NH. We are located less than a mile from Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire's largest freshwater lake, and only minutes away from the foothills of the White Mountains.

Alton Central School has built a curriculum around the New Hampshire State Frameworks and we strive to give our students as many educational and extracurricular opportunities as possible. In addition to their academic studies, children at ACS are able to participate in five sports in addition to Destination Imagination, Mock Trial, Lego Competition, National Junior Honor Society, Student Council, Drama Club and a variety of other extracurricular activities.
