Ambassadors for Children is as a non-profit organization and an operating agency of the Council of Churches.   Ambassadors for Children is dedicated to supporting abused and neglected children in the Ozarks.  The vision is to be part of a safe and healthy community where children are valued.  The mission is to enhance the quality of services and supports provided to abused and neglected children in our community.  We have five programs Adopt-a-Caseworker, The Kid's Clothes Closet, Tutoring, Project Self-Esteem, and Pack-a-Bag with Love. We serve the over 900 children placed into foster care in Greene County.
