The American Legion Auxiliary is the largest women's patriotic organization in the world.  Adolph Pfister Unit 1038 in Valhalla is an active group of women who are dedicated to serving our veterans, soldiers serving overseas in our armed forces, our local schoolchildren and we support many community charities.  Our members volunteer at Montrose VA Hospital, send goodie boxes to troops deployed overseas and sponsor girls for the prestigious Empire Girls State program, to mention a few.
