Earl Graham Post 159, Bryan, Texas was organized in 1919, became dormant and reorganized twice in the 1920's. The charter members voted to name the Post in honor of First Lieutenant Cyrus Earl Graham, who served in the Army Air Corps and was killed in France just two days before the armistice was signed.

Born 17 April 1894 in Rock Prairie, Brazos County, Texas. Cyrus Earl Graham was the youngest of five sons born to the Cyrus Calhoun Graham family. He graduated from Allen Academy in Bryan, then attended the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas. While at Texas A&M he served in the Ross Volunteers and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1916. Soon after graduation he volunteered for service in the Army Air Corps. He received his certificate of graduation from the United States School of Military Aerona.
