American Red Cross Volunteers Needed!

Looking for volunteer or internship opportunities? Well the American Red Cross of Shiawassee County needs you! If you want to be a part of one of the oldest and most recognized non-profit organizations in the World then join us for the volunteer experience of a life time. The American Red Cross invest an abundance of time training and preparing their volunteers to be ready for various situations. - Office Support / Reception - 3  1/2 hour shifts available weekly (or bi-weekly)

- Disaster Action Team - on-call

- Home Fire Safety Program Coordinator - to organize smoke detector installation project, scheduling volunteer teams and homeowner visits;  a 3 1/2 hour shift weekly or every other week.

- Home Fire Safety Installers for Owosso vicinity - as needed  (summer / fall)

- Blood Drive Ambassadors - 3 hours shifts monthly or as needed for special drives

All positions also offer opportunities for involvement in special events i.e. festivals, parades, fundraisers.  Volunteers may work in multiple areas
