ANAHEIM, CA - Anaheim Hills Golf Course and Dad Miller Golf Course have announced Nick Kumpis as the new Director of Instruction for both clubs. Nick will conduct private lessons with video analysis, group classes, golf schools and junior programs.
Nick has extensive experience with golfers of all levels, from accomplished players to beginners and juniors, and is highly skilled in video swing analysis. His arrival signals the launch of the Anaheim Hills Golf Academy and the Dad Miller Golf Academy. In addition to classes for students of all abilities, the golf academies will offer junior, beginners-only and women-only classes, as well as a one-day golf school that includes range instruction and course management during 18 holes with Nick.
In the last five years, Nick Kumpis has taught golf in over 20 states with the ESPN Golf Schools (formerly the Nicklaus/Flick Golf Schools), where he has been and will continue to be a Lead Instructor. He was handpicked to join the team by Hall of Fame Instructor Jim Flick, and has also trained extensively with Hank Haney. Both mentors are ranked in the top 6 of Golf Digest’s “America’s Greatest Teachers.”
As an ESPN Golf Schools Top 25 instructor, Nick frequently contributes to ESPN.com’s Instructor Mailbag, offering tips and answering golf questions. He also recorded video tips featured on ESPN Motion within the Golf home page of ESPN.com and on Lexus.com in 2003.
Nick has worked at the Pelican Hill Golf Academy with Golf Magazine Top 100 instructors Glenn Deck and Dr. David Wright, and was lead instructor for the American Youth Golf League in Yorba Linda and Newport Beach with Seth Glasco, also featured in Golf Magazine’s Top 100 issue.
