The National Coalition Against Prescription Drug Abuse (NCAPDA) was founded in 2010, shortly after Joe and April Rovero lost their son, Joseph (Joey) John Rovero III to an accidental overdose of prescription drugs he had been prescribed by a doctor that he mixed with alcohol.  NCAPDA has been working since to increase public awareness and save lives  through education about the dangers of misusing and abusing prescription drugs and through legislative advocacy.
