About
The Armed Services YMCA Twentynine Palms was established locally in 1992 with a mission to assist and serve active duty military members and their families stationed here at MCAGCC (Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center).
In order to ease the frequent transitions required during the course of a military member’s service, specially tailored low-cost or free programs have been designed to lighten the challenges of military members and their families whom are stationed in the area. The ASYMCA Twentynine Palms is a 501©3 non-profit organization. All our programs are made possible through fund raising events and are supported by the generosity of businesses, fraternal organizations and individuals. The ASYMCA Twentynine Palms does not duplicate any benefits, resources or services provided by the military or any other organization aboard the Marine base, nor does it receive any government funding.
In cooperation and with close work relationships with unit and base commands, this has allowed the ASYMCA Twentynine Palms to reach out further to the military community and to give back to the young men and women and their families for their sacrifices that they have given to our nation.
We are here to make a difference. We are here to serve.
