About Us:
Arts Richmond is a non-profit organization that supports, promotes and advocates for arts and culture in Richmond County, North Carolina. It provides galleries to glorify the dedicated work of local artists and artisans; contracts arts and cultural groups for arts-in-education programs; hosts various artists group meetings and workshops, hosts an online calendar of arts events; and works to promote lifelong learning and cultural enrichment to benefit citizens of Richmond County.
Arts Richmond is governed by a 12-member board of directors.
Program services include cultural development grants, individual artist grants, an online event calendar, marketing support of local arts, social media, monthly networking meetings and special events. Arts Richmond also provides executive representation of the arts on local government committees, task forces and community outreach organizations.
